London 2

The two next Saturdays we also went to London. In the first one we saw Tower Bridge, which was amazing. We walked around China Town and the Soho and we spent some more time in Picadilly Circus. We went to the British Museum although we only stayed there for an hour. We saw St. Paul's Cathedral and like every day we saw Buckingham palace while we were almost running to catch the train in London Victoria. The second day we went to Camden town for the second time, we went by underground to the Notting Hill carnival. We spent all the morning in the Madame Tussaud's museum, there were lots of waxworks of famous people. I took photos with lots of them. For me the best part of the visit to the museum  was the 4D Marvel experience, where while you were watching a video in 3D you could feel some water or wind like if you were in the film.

London

I went to London three times. The first day was a Saturday, as usual we caught the bus really early and we spent 1 hour and a half to arrive there. We stopped in London Victoria, we went out of the station and started to walk. The first thing we saw was Buckingham Palace, it was really crowded. After that we walked through St. James Park, and we arrived to the Houses of Parlament and Big Ben. We continued walking while we could see river Thames and the London Eye. We spent about 45 minutes into a cabin in the London Eye while it was  rotating. The views from there were great.
After that we went by underground to Camden Town which was amazing. There were lots of different people, some strange shops and also some frightening ones. To finish the day we spent about an hour in Picadilly Circus.

Brighton

During the month we went two times to Brighton. We usually caught the train early in the morning, it only took 45 minutes to arrive. In Brighton there used two be two piers but now there's only one. We walked around the pier which was the only pier we could enter in all the month. The one in Hastings was burned three years ago and the Eastbourne one was burned too two days before we arrived there...
In the pier there was a casino and food shops. At the end there was like a little amusement park.
In Brighton there were lots of normal shops where I bought a pair of vans and some clothes and there were also two or three streets of original and different shops, with old clothes and different styles. We also visited the Royal Pavilion and we had luch both days in the gardens around it.

Eastbourne 3

On weekdays I usually got up at 8 o'clock. At this time Ray, the man of the house came and said: Morniing, breakfast is ready! He always went upstairs singing a song, I loved that. After breakfast I had to catch a bus, called Loop and it took me to school. There we had three hours of class each day, although it wasn't like normal classes during the year. After the classes we did different activities. On Mondays we went to Gildredge park to do some sports. One day we went bowling, another to a laser game, we did an excursion to Hastings or some afternoons we just had free time which were the best ones. Afternoon activities usually finished before 5 o'clock. After them we went to our house and we had some time for us. In my house I always had dinner at 6 o'clock. After dinner I usually changed my clothes because it was cold and I went to catch the bus another time to the town centre. Two days a week we had disco, one day we went to the cinema and most of the evenings we just stayed next to the pier talking in the beach. This times were great! We had to be at home at 11 p.m.

Eastbourne 2

Next morning we met with our leaders in the pier. Our host families left us there because it was the first day. We did a tour around the town, we bought our bus tickets for the month and we started to talk because we didn't really know each other. On Sunday we went to Beachy Head, it was quite a long walk... This weekend was the worse one, because we were starting to get used to our new house, to the new food, new timetable and also lots of new people.

The week started and everything got better. On monday evening we met a Spanish group, they showed us some places to go and eat something and they told us some things about their trip, they were leaving the next day so we didn't see them again.

This August I went to Eastbourne . I spent there 4 weeks and I met lots of people.
The first of August I woke up at 4 a.m, at 5 a.m we caught a taxi to El Prat. The plane took off at 8 o'clock. We arrived to Madrid in 45 minutes. There two Interway people were waiting for us, after taking our package we met all the group and our two leaders. At first the situation wasn't comfortable at all, nobody knew what to say. We arrived to Heathrow airport in London at 2 o'clock, we only spent 2 hours and a half in the plane. From there we took a bus to Eastbourne. It took two more hours to arrive there. Everybody was nervous about how will their host family look like and if they would be kind. We waited one more hour until the host families started to arrive.. After all the day travelling I arrived to my house for the month, it was good. In the house there was a Tunisian girl and also a German one. My host family was called Simpson. I was really hungry, luckily I had dinner at 6 p.m although it wasn't really good... After dinner I went with the German girl for a walk and she showed me some parts of Eastbourne. It was a really long and exhausting day...
