Santa Catalina

Last Monday  was Santa Catalina. We went to school but we didn't do any classes. When we arrived, we went to the church because it is an religious scool. After that we spent all the morning around the playground speaking and doing nothing. Some little girls danced and the boys did a football competition like all the years. Finally I went with my friends to the Mc Donald's and after that we spent some time in the Carrefour. A friend and I tried to find our name in a Coca-Cola tin but we didn't find anything. We spent some time watching some beautiful cats too, we wanted one of them but they were really expensive.

Catching fire.

Last weekend I went to the cinema with some friends. We wanted to watch Catching Fire.
It is inspired in the second of  three books : The hunger games, Catching fire and the last one, Mockingjay.

Last Christmas I read the first one and I loved it. I started reading the second one but I didn't finish it. I saw the first film although I think that the book was much better. That's why last Saturday I went to the cinema to see Catching fire, the second film. I think it was so good.
I'd like to read the third book, I hope I can read it this Chirstmas. They say that they will do two more films for next year about the third book. I'm sure I will watch them.

Perfect holidays.

Five months ago I went to Madrid with my family. I was really happy.
First of all, we arrived to the hotel. It was enormous and really beautiful. The bedroom was big and comfortable.
Then we went out. We saw lots of museums and although I didn't like them very much I was pleased.
The last day, I went to a concert. The group sang lots of songs. When the concert finished I waited for two hours and finally I could met one of them. He signed me a T-shirt and we took a photo together.
This day, everything was perfect!

A horrible day.

I had a terrible time last Monday. Everything started wrong.
At first I got up at 8 o'clock so I arrived late to school. When I arrived, I had to wait for an hour. After the break, I realised that I had forgotten our Maths exam. I didn't know how to do it. Then, when I was going to my house I fell down. I hurt my knee and I felt really embarrased.
I spent all the afternoon studying for a chemistry exam. In the evening I went to play a basketball match and our team lost it.
What a terrible day!

My favourite series. Part 3.

Finally I'm going to talk about Bones.

It is about a forensic anthropologist and successful writer called Temperance Brenan. This serie talks about her adventures with Selly Booth, an agent of the FBI Homicide Unit. She works in the Jeffersonian institute with Jack Hodgins, Zack Addy and Angela Montenegro, her best friend. They are all really intelligent except Booth who usually doesn't know what they're talking about.
I started watching this serie one or two months ago because a friend told me about it.
At first I didn't like it much but after watching 5 or 6 capitles, I realized that it was a really good serie. Now I'm watching the third season of nine. I love it.

My favourite series. Part 2.

In this post I'm going to talk about New Girl.

New Girl is an American comedy about a young girl called Jessica Day who starts looking for a new place to live after  breaking up with her boyfriend. She founds a house and starts living with three young men : Nick, Schmidt and Winston. The serie is about Cece, Jessica's best friend, and all those boys adventures. In the 2nd season Jess and Nick  start dating  and here starts their love story.

The main characters are played by Zoey Deschannel as Jess and Jake Johnson as Nick. 

I usually watch it on Wednesday evenings. In my opinion it's a good serie if you want to have a funny time.

My favourite series. Part 1.

Last year my favourite TV show was Castle, this summer I started watching New girl and now, I watch Bones too so I don't know exactly what is my favourite serie. At first, I think I'm going to talk about Castle.

I watch it since I was ten or eleven years old. I don't remember exactly why or how I started watching it. It's about a policewoman, called Beckett and a writer,Castle, that helps Beckett with her murder investigations. In the beggining, he follows her because he needs inspiration for his books, they exist in real life too, but after the 1rst season, they fall in love. In the 5th one, they start dating and finally, in the last one, they get engaged.
The main character is represented by Nathan Fillion, now he is a little bit old but in the first season, he was perfect.

One of my favourite films.

One of my favourite films is Music & Lyrics. It's a 2007 romantic comedy film. The main characters are Alex Fletcher and Sophie Fisher. At first he is an old and unsuccesful pop star but when she appears in his life everything changes. They compose a new song together called 'Way back into love'. For me the end is the best part in the film when he sings her a beautiful song called 'Don't write me off' and they start kissing.
I like this film too because one of the main characters is Hugh Grant. Although now he is 53 years old in this film he is really handsome.

Things about my best friend.

She's fourteen years old and she lives with her parents, her brother and her sister. They've got two tortoises and a dog.She studies at the same school as me. Her favourite subjects are art and ICT. She likes English too. She doesn't know what to study at university.In her free time she likes watching TV. She loves dancing, she goes to a dance academy two days a week. She sometimes goes running and she plays tennis. She is really into music.

Things about me.

My name's Irene. I'm thirteen years old and I live in Vinaròs with my parents and my little sister, she's 10 years old. We've got a pet, it's a guinea-pig.
 I'm a student at Ntra. Sra de la Consolació. I'm in 3rd of ESO and my favourite subjects are P.E and art. I also like music. My worst subject is chemistry. I'm not very keen on Religion either. I don't know what I want to study at university.
In my free time, I'm really into sport. I love playing basketball but now I almost never play because I don't have time. I'm not really interested on drawing. I never play computer games, I don't know anything about them. I also love listening to music while I do my homework or simply to relax.

A: I'm waiting for the bus to the shopping centre. I'm buying a new pair of shoes.
B:  Really? That's interesting. Are you keen on fashion?
A: Yes, I love buying new clothes.

My first post :)

Hi! 

This is my first post on this blog. I've never written a blog or something similar so everything is new for me. I'm writing it because our English teacher told us to do it. At first I didn't think it was a good idea but now I'm starting to think that maybe it's a good way to improve my english. I'll write about my favourite TV shows, my favourite music and I supose I'll tell you some things about my life.
